What to Expect in Therapy
You may have a recent stuck point in your life or an old pattern or cycle that you want to change. Therapy is a process that can help you know yourself more fully and allow you to experience and see a situation in a new way. You tell me your story and I will focus on the underlying themes and shed light on things you may not notice on your own. I believe that therapy should go beyond insight or understanding to give you a new experience of yourself, your feelings and interactions.
Therapy may be challenging or confusing at times but “nothing that feels bad is ever the last step.” Ultimately our work together in therapy should help you feel more hopeful, more aware of your own strengths and encourage you to use those strengths to find your way to solutions that feel right. |
